A new day, a new blog
Sometimes I worry that I spend too much time on the Internet. But it’s not hard to see the attraction. The Internet is huge. There’s all sorts of things out there, from the surreal, to the funny, to the serious.
Yesterday afternoon my ISP, Pipex decided to go tits up on me - meaning that for twelve hours I had no ‘net access. I mostly slept through this period, but for the times I was awake, I had to find other wholesome activities. I took the time to categorise my CD collection. I tidied my room. I made a cup of coffee. My life is dull
I’m rather amused by an article in BBC News today, reporting that natural blondes are on their way out. I know a lot of people find blondes generally attractive. I am one of them. What puts me off are obvious bottle blondes. Girls can do it subtlely, and it looks nice. But they can overdo it, and make their hair look like it was just doused with a large bottle of Domestos - that’s a turn-off I’m afraid. Fortunately I’m confident enough to say I never liked Ann Widdlecombe with or without blonde hair.
